WHAT BENEFITS DO THE PHOENIX PROFESSIONAL FOSTER PARENTS RECEIVE?
24 hours/7 days a week phone support and response to emergencies by professional Phoenix Staff.
The Professional Foster Parents will receive one week per year of paid time off while the foster child is cared for outside of their home.
One weekend per month, the foster child will participate in supervised therapeutic and recreational activities led by the staff.
The foster home liability insurance cost is covered by Phoenix Homes.
Generous per diem compensation received by the Professional Foster Parents to reimburse for expenses to care for youth which include food, room and board, clothing allowance, and incidentals.
Medicaid or private insurance covers the foster youth’s medical, dental or psychological treatments.
Bonuses given to Professional Foster Parents for successful case completion.
Health and wellness programs will be provided to foster youth and foster parents.
Foster homes will be connected via computer for training/distance learning, communication and caregiver support.
No more that 2 foster youth will be placed in a foster home (except in the case of siblings).
A "wraparound" service package, which means support and direct help with all aspects in the child’s placement.
Foster parenting is a rewarding, and significant way to help a child.
